I had been looking for an interior designer to help me bring my 1990s home into the 21st century. The owner of a local boutique I enjoy recommended Emily Horn with Bare.Roots Design. Emily is a delight to work with. We started with one room that she transformed from an outdated space that was no longer functional as my family had grown and left the nest, to a beautiful guest oasis. I jokingly call it the “Zen Room” now, but is absolutely that. I keep the door open so when I walk by throughout the day, I can enjoy how lovely the space looks.
